Changing and setting your password is an important when securing your account:
In this tutorial, we’re going to show you how to change and reset your trading account password.
If you’ve forgotten your current password and can no longer access your account, you can reset your password by clicking on the “Forgot password” link on the login page, it is located just below the boxes you would normally use to enter your login credentials.
It will then prompt you to enter your email address to which you will receive a password reset email containing a link to enable you to reset your password.
If you already have your log-in credentials, but simply wish to change your password, this can be done via the client portal.
Once you have entered your current login details you’ll be taken to the account summary screen, as seen in the previous tutorial.
From here, you will notice a ‘change password’ option on the left-hand side of the page under the ‘my profile’. You’ll need to enter your current password along with your new password that you wish to use before re-confirming your new password and then selecting the save changes button.
